Summer Dawn

A Poem By Bernadette // 7/30/2009

The birds start a-singing
As the warm sun glows
And the trees start a-leaning
As the wind does blow
And the grass starts a-glowing
As the gold finch flutters
And the bushes start a-beaming
As the gray shadows dance
And the flowers start a-blooming
As the deer leaves its rest
And the leaves start a-sparkling
As the sun is looking down
And the clouds start a-gathering
As the dew is fare welling
And the morning starts a-coming
As the summer sings dawn
