Surge, Beat

A Poem By Bernadette // 5/17/2010

Crash,

       Pound,

                Pull.

                      Crash,

                             Roar,

                                    Throb.

Roll,

      Lap,

          Swirl.

                 Roll,

                       Curve,

                               Rise.

                               Pour,

                               Pound,

                               Roar.

                          Surge, surge,

                                Slow.

                          Beat, beat,

                          Pull, pull,

                                        Roll.

                          Crash,

                         Tear,

                        Rise,

                       Fall,

                     Skip,

                    Drown,

                  Torn.

Beat,

   Beat,

        Beat.

Slow,

  Slow,

      Slow.

Calm, calm,

Surge, beat.
