Here are commonly used expressions that I want to talk about:

Good God!
I heard this on an old movie once. But it's obvious where that came from.

Holy Cow!
Even though most of you know this, this expression must of orginated from the Hindu religion. (I mean, the Hindus didn't create it.) Hindus believe that cows are "holy". Now you see where that came from.

Holy Guacomole!
Now this was not orginated from Mexico because I don't recall ever there being in a religion a "holy guacomole." I think the writer of this expression was just trying make it rhyme.

Sweet Nibilits!
Nibilits could be either corn or candy. But otherwise, I don't know anything else about this saying.

Ya think!
Obviously it's a short way of saying "Do you think that's what it is?" sarcastically.

Well, people try not to say swear words. so they either replace it with heck! or just get rid of h-e double hockey stick.

I have no idea where this came from. Maybe somebody thought they saw a angel in the smoke.

Maybe there was a guy named Pete that everyone respected. I have no idea otherwise. Who is Pete anyway?
