Prophecy
I am not copying you, Michael. I thought this up after watching Lord of the Rings 1 again.

One will stand but the other will fall
Two shall arise from the north
Two shall stand in the path of destruction
Two shall rise with power
But only one will stand and the other will fall
One arrow
One sword
One crown
And only one kingdom
Two swords will slice through flesh
Two eyes shall see war
Two hands will hold the earth within their grasp
But only one shall stand and the other will fall
My books almost always have something to do with a kind of prophecy but not a written one, more of an "It is said" sort of thing, it is a kind of mutual understanding between the characters, nothing poetic really. I did have a pretty good one once, but I abandoned the idea of the book more than two years ago (but I was so attached to the characters that I transplanted a few of them into my other story).
This is good by the way, are you going to write a story to go along with it do you think?
Maybe...........but I got another idea about some girl named DEMETRIS and Athena and Ares. And if any of you have studied greek mythology you'll know that those names are greek gods or derived from Demeter.
I am going to read my sister's college mythology book whenever i get around to it. . .
Sure. i HAD an idea about the Demetris thing. maybe that would be as a video game.
Wow this is really great!!! I like it alot. It reminds me of the prologue to a story. I have a long story that I titled The Prophecy, and when read this, it looks like it would make a promising fiction, You could use your mythology characters if you decided to create a story based on this. BY the way I love Greek Mythology!! My characters are named Artemis and Leto :)
