Flooded with tears,
Mind flooded with fears,
Flooded with rain,
But still you’re the same,
I wanna scream,
Flooding my ears with the desperate noise,
My heart sinking flooded with your hopeful joys.
You left a simple note,
Flooded with goodbyes and little white lies,
My tearstained heart flooded with sighs.
Wonder if she will feel this way because of you?
She’s got you and all I’ve got is the picture of us close to my heart,
Flooded with colors of us,
Flooded with history,
Flooded with what used to be,
I think if you and her are just fate,
Or if you’re just using her for bate,
Like you did me,
But I shut my heart’s iron gate,
From your breathtaking words as I told you,” You’re a little too late.”
Flooded with deceitful lies,
Flooded with promising cries,
Living with the fact I can’t have you back,
All the confidence I now lack,

I had just finished this book and in it the girls boyfriend dumped her and so I kinda based it on that book and how I thought she felt. As you can tell, I get very envolved in the books I read and you have to say my name a few times before I snap back to reality! =] Freak of nature? Yep, that's me!!!!

I like this piece, because you can really feel emotion behind it. Also, it's written in a very interesting way that gives it character.
