The seasons

A Poem By Joseph // 5/4/2009

When the spring rain comes
crashing down
when the summer wind
blows through my hair
when the autumn leaves
fall to the ground
and the winter snow
blows through the trees
grace comes upon me,
and I thank God.

Smack a head that's unaware.
Then with freezing ice to spare
Melt and soak through underwear!
Fly straight and true, hit hard and square.
This, oh snowball, is my prayer." - Calvin, from Calvin and Hobbes

How many people do you know

How many people do you know who can write this great a poem at only seven?! This would be a good poem at any age. Good job with that, sunny youth (I like to call people "sunny youths", just to let you know). And welcome...glad to have you...come right in...and all that good, hospitable stuff.

Hey, you people sound like you know him personally; raise your hand if you know (personally) this sunny youth...or we could call him a lad...I like that too...
