The Block is Back

A Poem By Kassady // 7/31/2013

The Block is Back,
In the front of my brain,
Causing lack,
and head pain.
Though I read,
I'm still uninspired,
My creativity has fleed,
I've sunk, quagmired,
To the depths of numb,
That mind state,
Where you constantly feel dumb,
Like there's a huge weight,
Pushing you down.
In writers block I inevitably drown.

Nice job, I feel the same way

Nice job, I feel the same way often! Instead of fleed, it should be fled.

LOL!

Thanks! LOL! Yeah... sadly Fled does not rhyme with "read"... so I'm just gonna stick with my improper poem (until I have time to rewrite) for now. Thanks for reading :D!!! Which I had thought of the fleed, fled thing earlier... maybe I could change it to read... as in... it sounds like "red" :P

Write On!

:)

This totally describes the dreaded nightmare, writers block. I've had it for a few months, actually. :)

The Nicholas Sparks story--Wow. I was glued to the screen. It was amazing. I can't believe you wrote something like that....(sorry, not meant in an offensive way!) it was so good. I loved it. I really did. In fact, it inspired me to write a similar plot. Which I hope you don't mind. :) You did such a good job!!!!!

Goodbye? Oh no, please. Can’t we just go back to page one and start all over again?” – Winnie The Pooh
