Three Sonnets I Wrote at Two AM

A Poem By Kassady // 11/5/2013

2 AM,
I must be lonely,
Curled up like a clam,
Feeling everything but regretful only.
I say things I would never,
Like "I love you so much",
And thinking I'm clever,
by hiding my true touch,
and sense of religious beliefs.
I am friends with the prosecutors,
The witches and nuns stricken by griefs,
With the lovers, the sinners and the executors.
I am conflicted by desire,
I say "Just a brother" and feel like a liar.

My heart aches,
Uncertain and unconvinced.
Liars and fakes,
Turn out to be innocent.
My heart is still unexcepting,
While my mind tries to reason,
Working towards simplicity or at least attempting,
But completely out of it's season,
If it ever was in,
For my heart will never listen.
They all appear,
Brilliantly more grand than real life.
Maybe it's out of fear,
That I create such mental strife.
Smiles and eyes,
Always taunting,
My day dreams turn to lies,
And the charm turns haunting.
Tall and untouchable,
Sweet and close at heart,
Smart and reasonable,
Nearly charming but awkward from the start.
Each so different and charming,
My obsessive dreaming becomes alarming.

Okay, I REALLY want these

Okay, I REALLY want these explained. Because I think I may get them. But I know you probably won't want to...I wasn't about to explain mine to anyone. I'm just too liberal with word choice/descriptions. I give myself away. :P

But I personally think these are lovely and really, extremely well-written. I really like the end of the first one. Second one is good as well. And I REALLY LIKE THE LAST ONE. My obsessive dreaming becomes alarming. That is occasionally the story of my life. (HA! Story Of My Life--google it!)

Love ya!

everything was better when/you would call and I'd be like/yeah babe, no way

Oh my gosh! These are amazing! You totally blew me away. I think I can actually tell what these are about, because, well I had an experience that was similar. But I won't mention my suspicions.... I can tell they are really genuine because they were just, like...SO real.

Goodbye? Oh no, please. Can’t we just go back to page one and start all over again?” – Winnie The Pooh
