Of Apricots

A Poem By Julie // 2/17/2010

I am an Apricot
In an ApricotPie
And lest you forget,
I’ll now explain why
Apples are for school
And teachers’ goodbyes
But ‘Apricots are strange ‘
--A fact I belie—
Does it really matter
As long as we try?
People are confused
And tell Apricot lies
“They can’t grow well there,
Won’t be strong and spry,”
But our Apricot juice
Is not running dry
Sweet and delicious,
An endless supply
I am an Apricot
In this ApricotPie

LOL--I love this!

LOL--I love this!
