My True Inspiration

A Poem By Nathanael // 2/21/2008

Sitting ‘neath the window;

I sip my pungent tea,

As I think and ponder,

Of all the things

That inspire me.

Like the birds of the air,

Or the fish of the sea,

The mountains, and rivers.

A small creature,

Such as a bee.

So as I contemplate

Over all that I see,

I must acknowledge that

All creation

Comes back to Thee!

For You, O Elohim,

Made all creation be!

So now I understand.

It is You, Lord,

Who inspires me!

I need to think like this more often
Minus the tea though, I don't particularly like tea

Oh yes, cats are my favorite, mine's name is Tobi, not after anything though =]

Sure it's not after Old Toby? That's a leaf!
Well, I thought it was another name for Longbottom Leaf but I could be wrong.

Blogging away!

Just thought I'd let you know

Actually Anna, Old Toby and Longbottom Leaf are used for smoking, not for making tea.

"Do you think we should tell Tree Beard?"
"No. Might be a distant relative or something."
"Oh. I get it. Don't be hasty..."

Ah for tea and writing! I rarely get a cup of tea when I write, but I do love to do it. My dad doesn't like us drinking tea while working on the computer, and I rarely write by hand because muscles in my thumb get inflamed if I write for too long by hand.
But indeed - all inspiration DOES come from God, and with that in perspective, it makes it so much easier to write for the glory of God!

Although you wrote this so

Although you wrote this so long ago, I am still going to take the liberty of agreeing with you! :)
