Sin.

An Essay By Shane // 5/26/2003

Who put Jesus Christ on the Cross?
Was it the Jew?
Was it the Roman?
Was it you?
Was it me?
Was it Peter?
Was it James?
Was it John?
Was it Mary?
My friends! It is all of those.
I put Jesus Christ on the Cross.
You put Jesus Christ on the Cross.
With our sins we’ve done this.
The one act of mankind together.
It doesn’t matter who you are. We are all guilty of sin.
We have broken the commandments of God.
Romans 3:10 says: “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:”
You might think you are basically a good person, but you are not.
Have you ever told a lie? You ever steal anything? You ever disobey your parents?
These things are sin. Sin is disobeying God. However there is only one sin that cannot be forgiven. That is the sin of rejecting Jesus Christ at which point you will go to Hell because sinners cannot inherent the Kingdom of God. The solution is to confess that Jesus Christ is LORD. That Jesus Christ is God. Believe that he cleansed you from your sins and remembers them no more. He has separated you from your sins as far as the east is from the west. That Jesus Christ paid the price for you on the cross and was raised from the dead. All you need to do is receive it. It’s a gift. Believe, Receive, and Repent from your sins. Also, Jesus Christ is The Way, The Truth, and The Life. No man cometh unto the Father but through Him. Anything else is false folks. There is only one Truth, and Jesus Christ is it.
