Night Under the Star Filled Sky

A poem by Falling Leaves | 11/11/2008

*Author's Note* Yay!! Finally, a good poem written by me! I love poetry but I have a lot of trouble writing it. I'm VERY happy with this though, and I hope y'all like it! P.S. Sorry it's so short!

Her eyes reflecting stars,
She looked
To the night sky
That t’was filled with
Bright Lights.
The moon shown
On her face,
Coloring her white,
On that night
Under the

Nightly Chorus

A poem by Bernadette | 10/28/2008

Nightly chorus, around us sing
Crickets and others
Chirp through the night
Under a white light
A moon of blinding brightness
Pale grey craters
The moon does bear
Blushing clouds
Gather around
Far off stars
Silver glittering specks
In a midnight sky
Dark in blue
Cover as dome
Above music at night

Outlaw, King: Chapter One

Fiction by Bernadette | 9/16/2008

Chapter One
The bow string glinted in the pale moon light as a hand lay in the moonbeams, fingering it. A hooded face was hidden in the dark of night; he swung his bow silently around a quiver that hung upon his back. The moon glowed, lightening the land that lay at his feet. Midnight eyes were looking at the splendors of the night sky. He turned swiftly and faded along a forest path.

Thundermoon (poem of a character that is in a story that I am writing that is called Outlaw, King)

A poem by Bernadette | 9/16/2008

Dashing in moonbeams
Flashing in light
Thundering in stars
Neighing in night
Climbing in rock
Galloping in water
Swirling in sea
Yielding in land
Rearing in thunder
Snorting in hail
Whistling in wind
Rising in plain
Flaring in fire
Walking in blaze
Flowing in mist
Flying in air
Watching in wood
Coming in swift
Looking in moon
Eyeing in waves

Night

A poem by Bernadette | 9/5/2008

Glittering stars
On a black sea
Unmoving waves
High above earth

Silver moon
Beaming with brightness
On a dark land
Hushed in the night

Soft wind blows by
The ever standing trees
Quietness comes forth
And covers all

Veil of blackness
Light shines through
Glow of softness
Upon resting fields

My heart is full

A poem by Christa | 6/10/2008

Met upon the meadowland
On the forest’s edge
My love and I, here we stand
The rest of the world abed

The bright, gentle light of the moon
Basks down on the bending grass
Grass tips reflect unearthly bloom
The moon has reached its last
My heart is full

The sky reaches out forever and ever
Starlight unrelenting and unfound
The loveliest life eternally together

Snow Wonder

A poem by Sarah Michal | 12/28/2007

I roll over.
The glaring red
numbers of my
clock say 12:00am.
I cannot sleep.
Padding silently to
the door, I pull it open.
It is snowing.
Large flakes of snow drift
lazily down from the sky.
One inch already lies on the ground.
Everything seems hushed-quiet.
An ethereal light glows faintly.
The light of the moon amplified by
the thin clouds, and the white snow.

While all the Earth is Quiet

A poem by Elizabeth | 11/29/2007

While all the earth lies restful
And the lands lay under cover of sleep
Awake the watchfulness of peace sounds
Awake the awareness of God surrounds
Awake the love of His heart resounds

When the wetness of morn’s dew gathers on thin grass blades
On your heart a hand bades you rest, on mother Mary’s breast
When the moon rises and the stars gather sparkling in the sky
