We are so weak,
so selfish,
so cold.
We have known evil,
and hatred,
and sin.
Therefore, we are nothing. Beyond hope, beyond saving, beyond ever becoming what we could be.
Beyond ever being loved.

One could have said that of us
but He didn't.

He loved us.
He loved us anyway.

The world is so ruined,
so misguided,
so cold.
It has known evil,
and hatred,
and sin.
Therefore, it is nothing. Beyond hope. Beyond saving, beyond ever becoming what it could be.
Beyond love.

But I love it, becuase He did.
I love it anyway.

I like it. Good job.

"Remember when 'you play like a girl' use to be an insult?"
-Mia Hamn, American Olympic soccer star.

"Being cool is not acting cool."

"You were not meant to fit into a shallow box built by someone else." -J. Raymond

Lovely. I think it's very nicely worded. But there was one thing that made me laugh at my own stupidity. When it was on the opening page, I just glanced at it, and I saw the part where it said "selfish", but I only saw the "fish" part. Then I looked at the line below, and it said "cold". So I saw "cold fish". Why am I so pathetic? Great job though....cold fish....that's funny.

“For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.” Audrey Hepburn

Lovely poem. Great job.

"Let the high praises of God be in their mouths, and a two-edged sword in their hand."
~Psalm 149:6

Brother: Your character should drive a motorcycle.
Me: He can't. He's in the wilderness.
Brother: Then make it a four-wheel-drive motorcycle!
