Just a few quick little dittys I wrote up.. just to prove that I can write poetry. ;) Enjoy!

If your kite
starts to fight
to get some height
and tries a flight
into the light
you just might
recieve a bite
from the string so tight

In a land far away
lived a man and his wife
they were happy and fay
and'd been married for life

He worked at a mill
while she stayed home to cook
every thursday they would kill
the old rooster with a hook

You say to me
then I say to you
you give me a key
and I follow through.

Lol...actually, it's sorta of how I used to write poems, now, I don't write poems :P

But, I still like it! :D

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths

I like these! My favorite is the kite one except that it's a bit strange when it end with "Goodnight".

Would you consider writing more about the man and his wife one?

"It is not the length of life, but the depth of life." Ralph Waldo Emerson

The kite one was excellent!

you just might
recieve a bite
from the string so tight

Loved those lines!

I liked the others too, especially the last one. :) Great job!
