If you haven't watched Downton Abbey, or don't care to, then please skip down a bit.
So, it's recently been brought to my attention that there are Downton Abbey fans on AP. And, after completing the third season last night, I felt the need to discuss it with fellow....what do you call Downton Abbey fans? I have no idea! But, with my fellow, equally obsessed Downton fans.
So, since Apricot Pie is not really a place to get into discussions, I created a website I'd love for you to join! Here's the link:
So, people who love Downton, PLEASE join! And then we can discuss everything in the forums, which I'd love. :D Oh, and if you have friends that love Downton, give them the link, too! :D
Thanks! That wraps up Part One. Now, on to Part Two.
I don't know how many of you will see this, since the title is so odd, so I'll make another post a little later just about this. But I wanted to say, as my 3-year Apricotpie anniversary approaches TOMORROW, a giant THANK. YOU.
First of all, to Kassady, for giving me the link to this AMAZING site. Second, to James, for keeping it open when it threatened to close in October of 2010. And third, to every single one of you who has commented, critiqued, praised, and been honest and wonderful to me. Because of you, my writing has improved by leaps and bounds. It still has a ways to go, and I doubt it'll ever be perfect, but I owe a lot to you guys. <3 So thank you for that.
A special shout-out to a few that have read many pieces of my writing, and made me smile several times.
Thanks to: Kassady, Erin, Anna, Kyleigh, Sarah Bethany, Little Woman, Lucy Anne, Maddi, Bridget, Wings-of-Eternity, Sarah, Laura Elizabeth, Sarah Anne Andrews...my goodness, there are SO many. And I'm sure I've forgotten a few of you, and if I have, please comment with a, "HOMEY!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" And I will quickly fix that. :)
You guys are awesome and a huge support group that has kept me writing. So thank you. For everything.
Just a huge, "THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!" to everyone who has ever commented and eventually propelled me to Monthly Writer status. I've posted well over a hundred pieces on here, and it's a pleasure to be able to look back at my very first post, 1093 (1904 TOMORROW!) days ago, and see how much has changed.
Thanks, Kassady, for being my very first comment EVER on the site, and Tayme my second, and Mairead the third, and everyone else who has said anything since then.
It's amazing how much writing can change, and really, how much it affects you. There are things I'd never say aloud, but I never fear to put it in writing. And I always feel like I can post it on here.
Thank you, Apricot Pie! I can't wait until next year. :)
THANK YOU!!! And also, I'd love you to join my Downton Site. :)
